Mary Topolinski is an Associate Certified Coach with the International Coaching Federation and uses her coaching skills in all aspects of her career. She created and teaches the group program Pathway to Hope and Healing and provides individual parent coaching. Her desire is to link arms with parents of adults and teens with mental health challenges to find hope for themselves and help for their families.
Mary is a also seasoned Social Behavior Specialist and the founder of Social Strategies. Her experience, passion, and expertise help empower children, teens, and adults to find social success using the Social Strategies program. She is professionally and personally (as a parent) experienced in helping individuals with many varied disabilities, including autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, neurological disorders, mental illness and substance use disorders.
Mary has achieved her Life Coach Certification with Coaching Out Of The Box. She has completed the Social Thinking Mentor® program with Michelle Garcia Winner and her staff at the Social Thinking Center® and Think Social Silicon Valley®.
Mary is a volunteer facilitator of a "Hope For Hurting Parents" group at her church and is a speaker at women's retreats.
Mary has worked in a middle school autism program and taught the Social Strategies program in the Montessori school setting.
Mary has a Bachelor’s Degree from Northern Illinois University and was a home educator for 15 years. She is the mom of three grown sons and has lived in Crystal Lake, Illinois since 1997 with her husband of 33 years, Jeff. They are proud military parents!
Mary loves grabbing lunch with a friend, spending time with family, painting by number, and hiking in the woods... her happy place.
